This beautiful studio is located in the heart of historic downtown Grinnell, Iowa. Don’t see it? Look up! You’ll find us above Bikes to You. Our entrance is next door to Saints Rest coffee shop. Just head up the stairs and turn right! With its high ceilings, East-facing windows, and exposed brick walls, this space was made for yoga, or at least that’s how Jenny felt when she first walked in.
She started leading a practice for friends, even before there was any heat or electricity installed. Through the hard work of the Craig and Carl construction team, a giant, open, unused, storage space quickly turned into what Studio Z is today.
At Studio Z, we believe yoga is for anybody and every body, regardless of age, experience, or size. Our instructors offer welcoming, non-competitive Hatha yoga classes focusing on poses, breathing, and relaxation, with attention to individual needs and concerns. We also offer special classes, short sessions, and workshops with guest instructors, so check the monthly calendar! Come connect with the dynamic and growing Grinnell yoga community at Studio Z!
